it was so interesting seeing how long it takes to get that perfect shot--i really do hope that we got some good ones! sar and i spent about 2 hours running back, and forth, and back again...learned a few new things--1) it's hot wearing a jacket you're modeling in 90 degree weather, 2) it's not so easy to run on a technical trail (with new la sportiva shoes), looking not at the camera but not at the ground, looking happy while doing so, and not "eating" it! we had the best time though and even squeezed in a few shots towards the end, of scout, ed, sar, and i. can't wait to see if anything turned out! also, modeling, not that difficult!

any-who...things have been great here so far in boulder...i've been home for 3 weeks, my mom's visited, and running's been going well. i've had two difficult running workouts lately, but i seem to be on track. i did 10 x 1,000 on the boulder high track the other day, and managed to descend, which was awesome! did a tempo run with scout which rocked, because she helped me to keep it together. this running thing is hard, though. i hope that i'm able to to keep going, staying injury free.
have been running in the nike free 3.0 which i love...and also am officially a newton fan!
we'll see how tomorrow's 2:30 run goes. got an email from popo (in the picture above, with me!) and she had a great long run yesterday...super motivating. and, she's running with me! ya-hoo! hope it goes well...i am having sesame chicken tonight...dinner of champions!
made a peach pie and watched "to kill a mockingbird" last night...scout's name-sake! I love Jean Louise "Scout" Finch. Here's my pie!
on another note, dwighter starts emt school in denver on tuesday! goooooooo d!
